Sandra Wilson

Please let me introduce myself.
Hi, my name is Sandra Wilson and I am the owner and founder of Sukha Wave.
Sukha means an everlasting state of happiness and Wave stands for not resisting the current of life.

It is my purpose to inspire awareness. The awareness that it is possible to live a happy life carried by a beautiful wave of knowledge and tools that are offered within the yogic lifestyle.
I share these tools via coaching, classes, programs, workshops and retreats.
I am Mother of a toddler boy and baby girl.
An India trained Yoga teacher since 2008.
A Vinyasa flow yogi, passionate about Krishnamarcharya’s teaching.

Student of Ayurveda and have implemented its rituals into my daily life.
As well as translating it’s ancient nutritional knowledge to being fitting for a Vegan.

I am a Vegan for the animals, planet and for health reasons.
In awe with the healing properties of essential oils.
And I am a DoTerra essential oil lover and wellness advocate since 2015.

Yoga & Ayurveda in combination with the appropriate use of essential oils have supported me during two pregnancies, a natural birth, cesarean and recovery, and continue to do so in my day to day life. If you would like to know more about me, or have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

PS I can answer them in 7 languages 🙂

Certified Yoga teacher

Yoga Teacher

Since 2008 I have had the privilege to teach and continue to be a student of Yoga.
Which started as Integral Yoga (Sivananda) Teaching in countries such as Palma de Mallorca, Menorca, Portugal, England and The Netherlands. Since 2013 I started to continue on the path of Vinyasa Yoga and incorporating it’s way of life in my teaching.

2011-2013

Yoga school owner

During this time I co-owned a yoga school in Almere. Being a pioneer with hosting international teachers in Almere. It was during this time Kirti Daryanani taught at our center and mentored me in the transition from Hatha to a Vinyasa teacher. While she was writing her own teacher training.

since 2008

Teachers and Inspiration

After studying Sivananda I grew interested in the alignment from Iyengar. Doing workshops with Aadil Palkhivala taught me how to incorporate alignment to various walks of life without a rigidness yet speaking from the heart.

since 2013

Path as a Vinyasi

Following a Prana Vinyasa with Simon Park made me fall in love with this form of Yoga.
He inspired me to dive in deep and truly live Yoga. As well as how to keep my boundaries naturally as a teacher and in life.

Since I have been studying the teaching of Krishnamarcharya the father of Yoga to the west.
As well as follow teachers such as Shiva Rea, Daphne Koken en Simon Rowe.
Currently on my way to become a Vinyasa expert at the Nieuwe Yoga school in Amsterdam.
